Meet Dr. Daniella Phillis
Dr. Daniella Phillis is passionate about orthodontics and the lasting impact it can have on patients’ lives. Helping people achieve healthy, confident smiles while building meaningful relationships with patients and their families is one of the most rewarding parts of his work.
Every patient is unique, and Dr. Phillis is committed to providing individualized orthodontic care tailored to each person’s clinical needs, goals, and lifestyle. His approach focuses on achieving excellent long-term results while ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their treatment.
Education and Orthodontic Training
Dr. Phillis earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Villanova University, where he competed on the Division I varsity tennis team. His experience as a student-athlete helped shape the discipline and dedication he brings to patient care today.
He completed his dental and orthodontic training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he developed a strong foundation in advanced orthodontic techniques and evidence-based treatment planning.
Dr. Phillis is also board-certified in orthodontics, a distinction that reflects his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and continuing education.
A Family Tradition in Dentistry
Orthodontics and dentistry run in Dr. Phillis’ family. His father and sister are orthodontists, and his brother is an endodontist. Growing up surrounded by dental professionals helped inspire his passion for orthodontics and his dedication to helping patients achieve healthier smiles.

Life Outside the Office
Dr. Phillis and his husband, Eben, enjoy living in Durango, Colorado. Eben works remotely as an editor for the Harvard Business Review, which allows them to spend time exploring the outdoors together.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Phillis enjoys tennis, hiking, travel, and outdoor adventures with their Irish Wolfhounds, Rosie and Norman.
