Meet Dr. Daniella Phillis

Orthodontics has always been more than straightening teeth for me. Helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while building meaningful relationships with them and their families is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Every patient is unique, and I am committed to providing individualized orthodontic care tailored to each person’s clinical needs, goals, and lifestyle. My approach focuses on achieving excellent long-term results while ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout treatment.

Education and Orthodontic Training

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Villanova University, where I competed on the Division I varsity tennis team. My experience as a student-athlete helped shape the discipline and dedication I bring to patient care today.

After Villanova, I completed my dental and orthodontic training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where I developed a strong foundation in advanced orthodontic techniques and evidence-based treatment planning.

I am also board-certified in orthodontics, a distinction that reflects my commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and continuing education.

A Family Tradition in Dentistry

Orthodontics and dentistry have always been a part of my life. My father and sister are orthodontists, and my brother is an endodontist. Growing up surrounded by dental professionals helped inspire my passion for orthodontics and my dedication to helping patients achieve healthier smiles.

Life Outside the Office

My husband, Eben, and I enjoy living in Durango, Colorado. Eben works remotely as an editor for the Harvard Business Review, which allows us to spend time exploring the outdoors together.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy tennis, hiking, travel, and outdoor adventures with our Irish Wolfhounds, Rosie and Norman. Living and practicing in Southwest Colorado gives me the opportunity to enjoy an active lifestyle while serving a community that means so much to me.
